Had a great time working on this Intelligent Art Wall which is installed in SK-II Future X Pop Up Store currently touring in Tokyo, Shanghai, Singapore, and many more countries.

I was involved from the early phase of this project in developing visual directions for the Art Wall. We knew that it is going to implement the latest facial recognition technology which capture’s human facial expressions, and generate corresponding visuals in real time. The challenge is to create the most stunning visual experience with the available technology in order to make a ‘lag-free’ interactive experience come alive. By going through rounds of R&D of design mock ups and animation tests, we are happy to land on this particle driven facial silhouette which is ever-changing in forms and colors responding to users’ emotion.
